Captain White (LTjg/LT 12/76 to 5/79 Pilot C-130)
On July 19, 1997, Captain Charles R. White, Jr. assumed the duty as Commander, Fleet Logistics Support Wing. The aircraft flown by the wing are the C-9 "Skytrain"; the C-130 "Hercules"; the C-20D "Gulfstream III"; and the C-20G "Gulfstream IV."
During his career, Captain White has been awarder the Meritorious Service (three awards), Navy Achievement (two awards) medals as well as other awards associated the sea duty and service in the Mediterranean and Southeast Asia.
The Wing Commander job is a Commodore position, All former Foo Dogs congratulate Captain White for his success.
